I’m Caroline, a surface pattern designer & illustrator. I live in the Netherlands with my boyfriend and our Maine Coon, Charlie Bubbles.
I create hand-drawn patterns and illustrations, inspired by nature and the seasons, with a focus on sketchy lines and a warm aesthetic.
I draw my inspiration from the small things: flowers in bloom, seasonal transitions, and moments that often go unnoticed. With my designs, I aim to capture that softness and translate it into patterns and illustrations that feel personal and timeless.
Charlie Bubbles
A constant source of inspiration in my creative process is Charlie Bubbles, our 18-year-old Maine Coon. His calm presence, playful character, and undeniable charm subtly find their way into my work.
Charlie even has his own collection on Etsy, consisting of digital Christmas cards and art prints!
My work
My designs are created for a wide range of applications, from art prints and home decor to licensed designs and creative collaborations. Whether applied to interior products or lifestyle items, my goal is the same: to create work that brings warmth, balance, and joy to everyday life.
I love to create designs that feel meaningful and timeless, inspired by spring flowers in bloom, the vibrant energy of summer, the coziness of autumn, and the magic of the holidays.
