As a designer, I feel this change of seasons. Summer fills me with bright energy, long walks, blooming flowers, and carefree days. But autumn brings a different kind of inspiration, one that whispers: warm sweaters, cozy candles, and nature's beautiful transformation.
This transition is more than just the weather. It's a change in mood, in lifestyle, in how we surround ourselves at home. It's the beginning of cozy living, where muted tones, soft textures, and comforting rituals take centre stage.
The Feeling of Summer Turning into Autumn
Summer is all about light, brightness, and movement. Think beach days, fresh fruit, laughter echoing late into the night. But as August fades, there's a quiet pause that makes way for autumn.
It's that moment when evenings get shorter and a blanket suddenly feels nice on your shoulders. The golden hour becomes warmer and deeper in tone, hinting at the colours to come. The garden also changes, sunflowers bow their heavy heads, leaves begin to rustle, and the world feels softer.
For me, this transition is like turning a page in a sketchbook. Summer is full of loose sketches and vibrant colour palettes. Autumn invites more detail, slower lines, and deeper hues. Inspiration flows differently, warm, muted, cozy, nostalgic.

Every collection I create begins with a feeling. And autumn has, perhaps more than any other season, a feeling we all know so well. The crisp morning air, the sound of crunching leaves underfoot, the first mug of hot tea, the comfort of being indoors together.
